At MANA PHARMA, one of our core values is bringing healthcare to every corner of the world. That’s why when Adia Fatou introduced us to her humanitarian project, we knew immediately we wanted to be part of this initiative.
The Origins of the Project
Despite having lived in Spain for over 30 years, Adia maintains deep ties to her home country of Senegal, where access to essential medicines remains limited. Her desire to help led her to launch a humanitarian effort to provide treatments to those most in need.
With determination and the support of key collaborators, Adia overcame initial challenges, such as ensuring all donations met legal and healthcare requirements. Her collaboration with local professionals in Senegal, like the social worker at Fann Hospital, proved vital in delivering medicines safely and effectively to patients.
The Evolution: From Personal Initiative to Structured Project
Over time, the scale of donations grew, transforming what began as occasional aid into a large-scale mission. It was then that Adia reached out to MANA PHARMA to optimize logistics and ensure medicines were stored and transported under the highest quality standards.
Leveraging our expertise in international pharmaceutical distribution, we collaborated on shipping containers of essential medicines to Senegal, guaranteeing proper preservation and full traceability throughout the process. The latest shipment departed on February 12, 2025—but the project continues to move forward.

The Future: A Day Center for Street Children
Adia dreams bigger: beyond medicine shipments, she plans to create a Day Center for the most vulnerable children. To achieve this, she seeks allies who share her vision and can support the financial, organizational, and bureaucratic aspects. Want to get involved?
