Recognizing the Effort for a Fair and High-Quality Healthcare System
Recently, the Healthcare Excellence Awards were held in Equatorial Guinea, an event aimed at recognizing and promoting best practices in the healthcare sector, driving a more just, accessible, and high-quality system for all citizens. We had the honor of supporting the eight districts that presented their achievements and innovative projects for the benefit of public health.

The awards, organized with the support of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, highlighted the efforts of participating districts to improve medical care, disease prevention, and healthcare resource management. Each of the eight districts presented initiatives focused on:
Equitable access to healthcare in urban and rural areas.
Improvement of hospital infrastructure and medical equipment.
Training programs for healthcare professionals.
Awareness campaigns on prevalent diseases.
Among the most notable projects, progress was recognized in reducing infant mortality, expanding vaccination coverage, and implementing technologies for faster and more accurate diagnostics.
